Helping to Open Doors
for Disadvantaged JobSeekers

How to Help
Remember your first suit and how it made you feel? "Clothes make the man" is an old saying, but it is also true for women. Thanks to your clothing and financial donations, these women are "dressed for success" and they know it. The story of a suit at Our Sisters' Closet is hope, self-confidence and a second chance.

Men's Clothing Donations
Men's clothing donations are accepted at the Nothing New Thrift Shop at 2106 Airport Blvd. (across from Antiques at the Loop) map. Times are Monday through Friday from 10 am until 4 pm and Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm. Phone is 251.476.9091.

Buy a Suit
Cash donations are also used to purchase clothing where donations do not meet the needs. For example, about 75% of our clients wear a size 18 or larger, but only about 20% of our donations are in these sizes.
